The Outlaws got their season off to a winning start on Sunday against visitors Liverpool Fury. But despite the victory, the team failed to play to the high standards they set themselves, and know they will have to improve in the future.

BUAFL today announced the fixtures for the 2011-2012 season. As well as facing the giants Birmingham and Loughborough and city rivals Nottingham Trent, the 2011-2012 Outlaws season will see 2 new teams join the conference; Northampton and De Montfort.

Outlaws Beat Wolves To Begin New Year
Warwick Wolves 0-27 Nottingham Outlaws
Bright sunshine and a biting cold breeze were the backdrop for this late January fixture between the Nottingham Outlaws and the Warwick Wolves. With one eye on next weekend’s Varsity fixture against the NTU Renegades, the Outlaws could not afford to be complacent against a physical Wolves team hungry for an upset.
